Doettling Guardian is the World’s first Travel Safe for the Jet Setters

Doettling, the bespoke German luxury safe manufacturer has notably upheld the traditional locksmith’s craft in the style of Royal Prussian smiths ever since its inception back in 1919, and still works by hand to create unmistakable and unique masterpieces like the Doettling Colosimo Double Wing which was inspired by the 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL “Gullwing”, the safe for the $2.5 million Jaeger-LeCoultre watch set, the Colosimo, the iPad controlled Hublot Morphosis safe, the Colosimo leather and spikes edition, and the Bel-Air collection that gets a custom made Magnus safe for a watch collector, to name a few. Now for the exceptional enthusiasts across the globe, Doettling has created ‘The Guardian’, which has been billed as the world’s first security luggage that can be carried with a handle or shoulder strap. Weighing about 4 kg, the Döttling Guardian boasting a high-security concept provides unique protection for up to 6 luxury watches, jewelry, cash, or important documents.

Developed in house at Döttling, the Guardian’s centerpiece is its multi-walled, high-security cylinder built into the leather, which consists of a range of high-tech materials interlocked in a top-secret composition.

Speaking about the security, the Guardian’s cylinder boasts carbide component which is nearly as hard as a diamond, along with several layers of highly tear-proof and cut-resistant aramid carbon-fiber fabric that prevents drilling and sawing, with its innermost and outermost layers crafted out of polycarbonate.
